Manual Control vs Automated Schedules

How They Work Together

Manual controls work alongside schedules. You can start or stop resources anytime, regardless of schedule.

However, on the next schedule check (5-10 minutes), if the schedule says the resource should be in a different state, Huskar will automatically adjust it.

Example Scenario

  1. Your schedule says resources should be OFF from 6 PM - 9 AM
  2. At 8 PM, you manually start a resource for urgent work
  3. The resource starts immediately
  4. At the next schedule check (~5-10 min), Huskar sees the schedule says "OFF"
  5. Huskar automatically stops the resource again
Tip: If you need a resource to stay running outside schedule hours, temporarily detach the schedule or update the schedule pattern.
